OUR STORY

The beginning of Heart of the Fathers Foundation began with a culmination of events that impacted me to realize that this is my true and final calling in life. I will share some of the promptings in my life that made me realize that I need to focus my final few years here on earth focused on bringing the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers.

It began at the beginning of 2018 when Russell M. Nelson proclaimed that the purpose of the church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is to prepare the world for the Second Coming. When I saw the turmoil going on in the world, I wondered how could we ever prepare the world for the Second Coming. Then I read the last two verses in the Old Testament, Malachi 4: 5-6, “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the hearts of the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” This had a real profound effect on me.

It made me realize that the only way we can prepare the world was connecting our children with the Spirit to guide them to their true purpose. This really can only be done by the Fathers. There is a big disconnect between the older and the younger generations. I was noticing more criticism of the younger generation by the older generation. Then I read Chapter 6 in Mitt Romney’s book, “No Apology”. This chapter talked about how the Boomer Generation is heading toward becoming the worst generation. Being a boomer myself, I realized that I did not want to leave this kind of legacy when I passed on to the next life. I realized that there is still time to turn this around. Several of my readings and research really inspired me to know that I was on the right path. One quote by Franklin D. Roosevelt, really impacted me, “We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can always build our youth for the future.” This gave a whole new meaning to the scripture in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” I feel that we as the older generation confuse, what the meaning of “the way he should go.” These children have their own path and purpose, and we need to help Them discover their true path or purpose and support them and encourage them. If everyone was living the reason that They are here, their true purpose, then we will be ready for the second coming.

I invite you to join me on this trek, it will bring joy to you and your life. I feel like I am one of Elijah’s soldiers in this final battle. What if you are still alive at this moment just for the purpose of reaching out to the young people of the world, the future leaders? Leaving a legacy is not about you, it is about them and the difference you have made in their lives so that they can fulfill their life’s purpose.
